Pirate Radio

- Internet killed pirate radio.

- Morsel Forts: Army bases, abandoned in the sea; pirates took them over. No laws in international waters, therefore, able to transmitt whatever they want, and purchase much more powerful equipment.
- People have the right to have a radio station of their own, instead of one ran by the government.

- Kiss 100: pirate radio on 94FM in 1985; became legitimate in 1990.
